On the Level
Lee Resources has contracted with Al Trellis of Home Builders Network to
write On the Level. You may know Al Trellis from his monthly "Ask Al"
column which appears in Builder magazine. For the last four years Al
has been the top rated speaker at the NAHB Convention. This means that
many of your contractor customers either know Al, have heard Al speak,
or have read his articles.
On the Level is also a four-page newsletter that is custom-imprinted
with the dealer's name and logo on the masthead. It is also shipped
approximately 30 days in advance of the date on the newsletter to give
you plenty of time to prepare your mailing.
NOTE: On the Level is not sold on an exclusive basis. It is possible
that other dealers in your trade area also subscribe. So please ask a
marketing representative at Lee Resources if another dealer in your area
already subscribes.
Mailings - Getting the Best Results
Subscribers get the best results when they send newsletters to
each customer and prospect in a special envelope addressed to the owner
and other key "influencers" in the contractor's organization. We
recommend that you do not insert your newsletters in the envelope with
your monthly statements. Many times the statement is addressed to the
bookkeeper or accounts payable person and not to the owner. And the
owner and purchasing personnel are your targets.
Co-Op Advertising
Many On the Level
subscribers receive co-op funds from one or more suppliers to offset
their investment. Lee Resources is happy to insert one or more
supplier's logos on the masthead so that the dealers meet the criteria
to receive co-op funds.
